SINGAPORE (Sept 5): CapitaLand’s wholly owned lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited, has opened lyf Funan Singapore, its very first property under the co-living brand.

SINGAPORE (Apr 9): The Ascott Limited, CapitaLand’s lodging business unit, has won contracts to manage 14 properties with over 2,000 units in China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.

SINGAPORE (Aug 29): CapitaLand has appointed its current group chief investment officer (CIO), Lee Chee Koon, to succeed Lim Ming Yan as president and group CEO with effect from 15 Sept.

SINGAPORE (July 26): CapitaLand’s wholly-owned service residence business unit, The Ascott Limited, has entered into a strategic alliance with Filipino developer Cebu Landmasters to manage a total of 1,600 units by 2022.

SINGAPORE (Oct 19): The Ascott is investing $81.5 million to acquire and refurbish The Domain Hotel, in Silicon Valley, California.

SINGAPORE (June 27): The Ascott Limited, CapitaLand’s wholly-owned residence business unit, has secured seven new contracts to manage over 1,300 apartments across six cities in China.
