The junta had earlier moved Suu Kyi and ex-president Win Myint from their residences in the capital to an unknown location.

The firm sold 13 million shares for $2.42 million, pricing each share at around 18.6 cents, via market transaction on Feb 17.

The move came after days of escalating tension between the civilian government and the powerful military.
