SINGAPORE (Mar 27): Acromec announced that its 80%-owned subsidiary Acropower has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HL Plus to build, own and operate (BOO) an organic waste-to-energy plant.

The new plant will be built on the future poultry farm site of Chew’s Agriculture, located at Neo Tiew Road.

Acropower is an 80:20 joint venture (JV) with Malaysia-based energy specialist Green Energy Resources, which was set up on Mar 13.
