SINGAPORE (April 24): AGV Group, which provides hot-dip galvanising services in Singapore and Malaysia, said it has clinched new contracts to galvanise some 29,000 tonnes of steel and iron for a slew of public works and private-sector projects, including Seletar Airport and a mega oil refinery in Johor.

The 15,000 tonnes worth of new contracts in Singapore, secured since the beginning of calendar 2017, are from companies involved in projects ranging from the building of schools and HDB carparks to the fabrication of water treatment and petrochemical plants.

These projects bring AGV’s total tonnage for contracts secured in the current financial year FY2017, which ends on 30 September 2017, to 22,618.
