SINGAPORE (Nov 4). Starting from 2017, digital transformation (DX) will progress towards macroeconomic scale over the next 3-4 years to change the way enterprises operate and reshape the global economy, says International Data Corporation (IDC) Asia/Pacific.

The provider of market intelligence calls such a phenomenon the dawn of the “DX economy” – a result of enterprises committing to DX on a massive scale.   

According to Sandra Ng, group vice president, practice, IDC Asia/Pacific, every growing enterprise must “become a ‘digital native’ in the way its executives think and act” in order to succeed.
