SINGAPORE (Dec 2):  The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on Thursday announced that up to $2 billion of Savings Bonds will be offered in 2017.

Up to $150 million will be available in first bond of 2017, SBJAN17, which will be issued on Jan 3. Following this, a new savings bond will be issued every month.

According to MAS, the 10-year average annual return from the bond is 2.18%.
