SINGAPORE (Oct 20): Shares of Acromec rose as high as 6.6% to 7.25 cents on Thursday after the engineering and construction company announced it won a $7 million contract the night before.

The contract, to be completed by the second quarter of next year, is for fit-outs at a laboratory in the National Centre for Infectious Diseases.
