SINGAPORE (Aug 22): Shares in Best World International rose as much as 5.3% to $1.79 on Monday.

This prompted Singapore Exchange to ask the retailer which retails skincare-to-wellness products through direct-selling, to give reasons for “unusual price movements”.

The market regulator also asked the company if it is in compliance with listing rules.
