SINGAPORE (Sept 23): Here are some stocks that could move the market this Friday morning:

CapitaLand’s subsidiary CapitaLand (Vietnam) Holdings is acquiring a prime 0.5ha site in Ho Chi Minh City, for US$51.9 million ($70.4 million). CapitaLand is expected to develop a 17-storey residential tower and a 22-storey serviced residence tower offering 302 units. The Somerset branded serviced residence will be managed by CapitaLand’s serviced residence arm, The Ascott Limited. Shares of Capitaland closed 1 cent lower at $3.13.

Lum Chang Holdings is jointly acquiring property investment company Corwin Holding and its main commercial development asset The Verge for $189.75 million. Located at 2 Serangoon Road, The Verge comprises two shopping mall buildings: an eight-level shopping mall comprising six storeys and two basement levels, as well as another eight-storey building known as Chill @TheVerge. Lum Chang closed 1.37% lower at 36 cents on Thursday.
