SINGAPORE (29 Sept): Civmec’s two new divisions, Maintenance and Refractory, have delivered about A$30 million ($31.3 million) in revenue through various shutdown projects.

The divisions are poised to deliver an additional A$85 million in ongoing work over the next three years. These long-term maintenance contracts include Calciner shutdown contract for works involving refractory, mechanical, scaffold and electrical services for Alcoa of Australia, as well as ongoing, maintenance services for shutdown work across Fortescue Metal Group’s mines and ports.

The company has also secured a contract with BHP Billiton for modification works on a mine in the Pilbara area of Western Australia.
