SINGAPORE (June 29): Civmec, the oil & gas and civil engineering company, has won a total of A$50 million ($50.1 million) in new contracts for major infrastructure projects in New South Wales, Australia.

Civmec will supply precast components to the Northwest Rail Link project, for NRT Infrastructure JV. This is the first stage of Sydney’s A$8.9 billion public transport infrastructure project. A second package of works on the same project is to carry out site concrete works as well as the precast installation for certain individual stations.

Civmec has also secured two East Coast fabrication contracts from Seymour Whyte. One is for the supply, delivery and site assembly of bridge girders and supply of a bridge support tower and traffic sign frames totalling over 250 tonnes of steel for the Narellan Road Stage B works.
