SINGAPORE (Dec 12): Civmec on Monday announced that subsidiary Civmec Construction & Engineering has secured two contracts worth a total of AUD$160 million ($171 million).

The first contract involves the development of a processing facility for mining giant Rio Tinto’s Amrun Project in North Queensland, Australia, including a bauxite beneficiation plant and associated water, electrical and lighting systems.

The contract will commence immediately and is due for completion by end-2018.
