SINGAPORE (May 16): Mainboard-listed Darco Water Technologies today announced it has won new contracts in China and Malaysia worth some $11.5 million.

Darco’s newly-acquired 60%-owned subsidiary, Wuhan Kaidi Water Services, signed a RMB41.6 million ($8.7 million) deal for the expansion of a Wastewater Treatment Project (Phase I) and procurement of equipment at a chemical industrial park in China’s Zhejiang Province.

This would involve the use of Darco’s two proprietary technologies – the membrane bioreactor and fluidized-bed Fenton technology – to treat wastewater of pharmaceutical manufacturers.
