SINGAPORE (Oct 31): Here are some factors and stocks that could move the market this Monday morning:

DBS Group Holdings will buy Australia & New Zealand Banking Group’s retail and wealth management businesses in five Asian countries. The bank announced this when it reported earnings of $1.07 billion for 3Q, little changed from a year ago. For the three months to Sept, total income rose 8% to $2.93 billion. Bad debt charges rose to $436 million from $178 million a year ago. Shares of DBS closed 5 cents lower at $14.90.

UIC, the property and hotel group, reported earnings of $64 million for 3Q, a 2% decline from a year ago. In the quarter to Sept, revenue rose 38% to $262 million, thanks to the $71.7 million increase in higher progressive revenue recognition and higher sales at residential properties V on Shenton and Alex Residences. Shares in UIC closed 2 cents lower at $2.76.
