Former ST Marine president pleads guilty to corruption

SINGAPORE (Jan 5): ST Engineering announced on Thursday that Chang Cheow Teck, the former president of ST Marine and ST Aerospace, has pleaded guilty to one charge under section 157 (1) of the Companies Act.

Section 157 (1) relates to the requirement of an officer to “act honestly and use reasonable diligence” in performing his duties.

The court has sentenced Chang to a short detention order of 14 days.
