SINGAPORE (Oct 10): Keppel Land has begun purchasing solar energy from Keppel Electric, a subsidiary of Keppel Infrastructure, to power its office at Bugis Junction.

The solar energy is harvested from solar panels installed in premises operated by Keppel Infrastructure which is then transferred to Keppel Land.

This is the first Green Mark-certified office using renewable energy generated offsite to fully power operations. Keppel Land is expected to offset about 150,000kg of carbon emissions every year, an amount that 750 trees would absorb over their lifetime.
