SINGAPORE (Sept 16): Singapore-based lottery operators Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club are getting ready to launch their online betting services in the second half of October, according to a Thursday report by The Straits Times.

They are reported to have already prepared advisories on the online betting services, and are putting the finishing touches to their online betting platforms.

Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club are hoping to receive the green light from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to be exempted from the Remote Gambling Act by the end of this month, the newspaper reported on Thursday.
