SINGAPORE (Aug 11): Health data analytics start-up BioFourmis announced on Thursday it received a total of US$1 million ($1.34 million) in angel funding.

Its investors are SpesNet, a South African medical coding and healthcare services company, and Eden Strategy, a Singapore-based strategy and sustainability consulting firm that selectively incubates start-ups and mid-stage organisations.

“We believe in BioFourmis’s promise of moving away from conventional healthcare systems and making it more personalised and real-time,” says Calvin Chu, partner at Eden Strategy.
