SINGAPORE (Dec 2): A shirt and tie is synonymous with any C-suite officer, but yet Neal Cross, chief innovation officer, DBS is rarely seen in it.

Clad in loose, rumpled khakis and a brown cotton jacket, Cross is quite the opposite of how a bank employee should look like. Cross recalls how he was similarly attired at the G20 summit in China earlier this year.

“I was the first-ever [speaker] not to wear a shirt and tie,” says Cross.
