SINGAPORE (Oct 7): MMP Resources on Friday announced it is contesting the claims made by Edward Lee Ewe Ming, who has filed an application with the Singapore High Court to wind up the company.

In the application, which will be heard on Oct 28, Lee claims that MMP Resources had failed or refused to pay a sum of $5.22 million demanded, and has not made any offer to secure or compound the amount.

In an SGX filing, MMP Resources says the company is disputing the claims and will be vigorously opposing the application.
