SINGAPORE (Sept 20): Singapore’s recruiters are getting it all wrong about what employees want, as proven by LinkedIn’s Singapore Fulfilment Study 2016.  

According to the social networking service, 61.7% of human resources (HR) professionals and recruitment decision-makers who were surveyed “strongly believe” that salary and financial remuneration contribute the most towards employee fulfilment.

However, based on responses from working professionals across various industries in Singapore, the nation’s employees beg to disagree – thus presenting a noticeable mismatch in the employer-employee expectations which LinkedIn sought to unearth through its study.
