Otto Marine applies for winding-up order against Hoe Leong over debts owed

SINGAPORE (Aug 18): Otto Marine on Tuesday made an application to the High Court of Singapore to wind up Hoe Leong Corporation for debts owed.

“Despite numerous reminders and demands, Hoe Leong has managed to make payment of US$0.58 million towards its US$1.5 million debt. To date, the total sum outstanding against Hoe Leong remains at US$0.92 million,” says Otto Marine in its filing.

The winding-up application has been fixed for hearing on Sept 13.
