SINGAPORE (April 3): Raffles Medical Group (RMG) has acquired a 28,000 sq m plot of land in the New North District of the Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing, China, on which it intends to develop a 700-bed international tertiary general hospital.

This follows the group’s signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) last month to explore cooperation between itself and China’s Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee on healthcare-related projects.
