SINGAPORE (Oct 10): Sapphire Corporation says it does not know the reasons behind the unusual price and volume movements of its shares but that it is notholding back any undiclosed information and that it is acting in compliance with listing rules.

The filing was made in response to Singapore Exchange’s query on its trading activity. Shares of Sapphire closed 10.6% or 3.5 cents higher at 36.5 cents, with 18.9 million shares changing hands.
