SINGAPORE (Oct 6): SATS says Air India SATS Airport Services, its joint venture company with Air India, has started trial operations at AISATS Coolport on Wednesday.

AISATS Coolport is an integrated on-airport perishable cargo handling centre located at the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru.

The 11,000 sqm facility has a handling capacity of 40,000 tonnes per annum, houses 17 dedicated cold rooms, and is able to handle temperature-sensitive cargo such as pharmaceutical products, fruits, vegetables, poultry, seafood, and flowers.
