SINGAPORE (May 24): Scoot, the low-cost, medium-haul arm of SIA Group, has launched services from Singapore to Amritsar and Chennai.

Scoot will fly three times a week Amritsar three times a week for now but will increase thefrequency with an additional Monday service from July.

Scoot is taking over the Singapore-Chennai daily service from Tigerair with the new and spacious Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
