SINGAPORE (Dec 21): Here are some factors and stocks that could move the market this Wednesday morning:

Neil McGregor has been appointed as the incoming group president and CEO of Sembcorp Industries. He will succeed current group president and CEO Tang Kin Fei when the incumbent retires at end March. McGregor is presently a director on Sembcorp Industries’ board, and the senior managing director and head of energy and resources at Temasek International. Shares of Sembcorp closed 1 cent lower at $2.91 on Tuesday.

COSCO Corporation (S) has converted the trading halt of its shares into a trading suspension. The move comes after parent company China COSCO Shipping Corporation announced that it would be restructuring its shipyard businesses. China COSCO said that the restructuring would centralise the operations and management of the shipyard businesses and would affect COSCO. Trading of COSCO shares have been halted since Dec 16.
