That means Mainboard-listed companies who fail to meet the current six-month volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of 20 cents will only be placed on the SGX watch-list if their market capitalisation is less than $40 million. The SGX watch-list currently has two entry criteria: the MTP and the financial entry criteria. Shares of Singapore Exchange closed 0.1% higher at $7.67 on Tuesday.

Sembcorp Marine is acquiring the remaining 15% stake in PPL Shipyard for US$115.1 million ($155.7 million) in cash. PPL is in the business of designing, constructing, repairing and improving of oil rigs, ships and other ocean-going vessels. Shares of Sembcorp Marine closed 0.4% lower at $1.32.
