SINGAPORE (Nov 10): Shares of City Developments rose as high as 1.2% to $8.60 after the company reported a 60% rise in its 3Q earnings, helped by higher property sales and gains from the divestment of its stake in a hospitality firm.

By comparison, the benchmark Straits Times Index is up 1.4%.

Earnings in the July-September quarter was $170.3 million dollars, versus $106.4 million a year earlier. Revenue rose 14% on year to $922.8 million.
