SINGAPORE (Dec 13): Singapore closed 800 deals this year, 115 more compared to the 685 deals closed a year ago.

However total value for the deals came in 15.1% lower at US$88.1 billion ($125.7 billion), compared to US$103.8 billion in 2015.

The tabulation of deals which included Mergers & Acquisitions and Initial Public Offerings was done by Duff & Phelps, the global valuation and corporate finance advisor.
