Regional stock markets could be in for a volatile 4Q. Any short-term decline could, however, be an opportunity for investors to add exposure to their favourite single-country Asian equity funds. Find out the names to bet on.

Asia ex-Japan stocks, which have surged more than 20% since their January lows, have recently experienced a bout of profit-taking by investors. This correction could continue in 4Q2016, which is expected to be a volatile period for regional equities.

Nonetheless, many investment experts reckon that short-term price declines could be a window of opportunity for long-term investors who want to add exposure to this group of equities, which offer a combination of quality and stability compared with other emerging-market stocks.
