SINGAPORE (Dec 28): Here are some stocks that could move the market this Friday morning:

Singapore Post has appointed Paul William Coutts as its group chief executive officer and non-independent director of the SingPost board, effective June 1, 2017. Coutts, 60, has more than 20 years of experience in C-suite positions at major global logistics and postal companies. Since 2013, Coutts had been CEO of Toll Global Forwarding in a global role based in Singapore. Shares of SingPost closed half a cent higher at $1.47 on Thursday.

Lower sales from Second Chance Properties’ apparel, properties and securities business cut its 1Q17 net profit by half to $1.26 million from a year ago. Revenue fell 9.8% to $7.4 million. “Our apparel business in Malaysia has deteriorated further and we expect continued losses during the year. In order to mitigate these losses, we will be closing at least 10 stores in this financial year,” said the group. Shares of Second Chance closed at 23.5 cents.
