SINGAPORE (Aug 18): Here are some stocks that could move the market this Thursday morning.

Singtel has entered into conditional share purchase agreements with Temasek to acquire 21% of Intouch Holdings and 7.39% of Bharti Telecom for a total consideration of $2.47 billion. “The acquisitions will increase the exposure of Singtel and its subsidiaries ...to the high growth telecom sectors in Thailand and India driven by rising mobile data penetration and increased usage,'' Singtel said in a release. Shares of Singtel closed 1.4% lower at $4.21 on Wednesday.

iX Biopharma, the specialty pharmaceutical company, announced that it has completed pre-clinical development for a supplement aimed at alleviating jet lag and improving sleep quality. iX Biopharma said it has started batch stability testing in FY2016, and will file the product for export listing with the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration for sale in the region upon completion of stability testing. iX Biopharma closed flat at 27 cents on Wednesday.
