SINGAPORE (Sept 15): Integrated engineering group ST Engineering today announced that its current president and CEO, Tan Pheng Hock, will be stepping down from his position and relinquishing his appointment as the group’s director on Sept 30.

In a Thursday release, ST Engineering says Tan will subsequently become an advisor to his successor, Vincent Chong, who will officially take over as president and CEO as well as director on Oct 1, 2016.

Tan’s intention to retire from his position was made known to its board last year in September, after having served as president and CEO of the group since early 2002.
