ST Engineering wins electronics contracts worth $650 mil in 2Q

SINGAPORE (July 20): ST Engineering has secured a total of about $650 million worth of contracts in 2Q16 via its electronics arm, ST Electronics.

About $210 million of rail electronics & intelligent transportation contracts were awarded by both local and overseas customers, which will be completed progressively until 2020, says the group in a Wednesday filing.

Satellite & broadband communications contracts amounted to $80 million from government, telecom and enterprise users worldwide for the supply of broadband network, satellite network equipment and earth stations.
