SINGAPORE (Sept 19): Singapore stocks closed higher on Tuesday, having traded in the red for almost the entire session.

About 1.4 billion shares valued at $927.8 million were traded during the session. Losers outnumbered gainers 204 to 178.

Magnus Energy was the most active with 225.9 million shares changing hands. Next was Annica Holdings which saw 160.4 million shares traded. Third was Addvalue Technologies with 98.4 million shares.
