SINGAPORE (Sept 22): Singapore stocks closed 4.68 points lower to 2,846.06 on Tuesday, after giving up early gains associated with a monetary policy decision overnight from the US Federal Reserve.

The losses were mild, and concentrated in a handful of large-cap stocks. Sembcorp Marine and Sembcorp Industries were the biggest losers, closing 1.2% lower.

At the other end, Ascendas REIT and Capitaland Commercial Trust were the biggest gainers, closing 1.24% higher at $2.45 and 1.3% higher at $1.60 respectively.
