SINGAPORE (Oct 24): Singapore stocks ended higher on Monday, tracking gains seen in other Asian markets.

The benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) closed 0.9% or 25.62 points higher at 2,856.68.

In the broader market, 1.5 billion shares with a total value of $781.5 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 229 to 153.
