SINGAPORE (Aug 15): Singapore shares ended lower in mixed trade as investors wait for fresh trading cues, including Singapore export data due Wednesday.

The Straits Times Index was flat at 2,8671.21, with some banks ending in red after rally in the past few sessions.

DBS ended down 1.2% at $14.86, while United Overseas Bank was down 1.5% at $17.65.
