SINGAPORE (Sept 8): The Singapore market ended flat on Thursday with large-caps split and a weak lead from the rest of Asia. Some offshore marine and property stocks rose.

At 5.04pm, the key Straits Times Index (STI) was up 0.83 points or 0.03% at 2,894.48. About 1.54 billion shares valued at $1.01 billion changed hands. Gainers outnumbered losers 216 to 172.

Noble Group led the most actives with 207.9 million shares traded. Ezra was next with 182.1 million shares while Addvalue Tech was third with 110.2 million shares.
