Tan Chong in JV to assemble Subaru vehicles in Thailand

SINGAPORE (Jan 17): Tan Chong International will offer complete knockdown production of Subaru vehicles in Thailand starting from 2019.

Tan Chong says wholly owned subsidiary TC Manufacturing and Assembly Thailand will establish a joint venture company in February with Fuji Heavy Industries, the manufacturer of Subaru vehicles, for that purpose.

On top of that, the two parties plan to expand their CKD production of Subaru vehicles for distribution within the region.
