SINGAPORE (Nov 3): Private equity fund TIH Limited announced earnings of $3.2 million for 3Q16, turning around from its loss of $3.1 million in the same quarter the year before.

Total comprehensive income for the quarter stood at $10.5 million compared to a loss of $7.5 million in 3Q15.

This was boosted by the increase in fair value gain on available-for-sale investments of $7.3 million from the underlying quoted shares held through Fortune Code Limited; fair value gains of $3.7 million from unquoted equity investments; as well as interest income of $0.6 million arising from the loan granted to a portfolio company.
