SINGAPORE (May 19): Singapore’s national carrier is embarking on a “radical” transformation of its operations.

SIA’s Chief Executive Officer Goh Choon Phong told analysts and journalists at a briefing that the airline is now ready for a major review “from a position of strength”, following adjustments to its business model over the past few years.

Goh declined to provide details, but said the review would see “fundamental” changes, including organisational restructuring and the consideration of new revenue-generating businesses.
