Keppel Land China – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Corp – has opened its retail mall in Seasons City in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City.
This marks the company’s expansion into the retail sector in the Eco-City which is a project between the governments of Singapore and China.

Located in the vicinity of the start-ups in the Eco-City, Seasons City mall has a total gross floor area of about 161,800 sq m and boasts a five-storey retail mall and three office towers.
The retail mall has a gross leasable area of about 44,543 sq m, and is a well-curated lifestyle haven that is home to gourmet dining establishments, high fashion brands, total wellness and experiential entertainment catering to all ages.
The mall also features a range of smart applications such as a smart parking system and a cloud-based service platform which offers a personalised and convenient shopping experience.
Ben Lee, COO of Keppel Land and president of Keppel Land China is heartened by the opening of the mall.
“We will leverage our innovative and multi-faceted urban space solutions to meet the needs of residents, office workers and tourists to the area, thus contributing further to the Eco-City’s vibrancy and attractiveness,” he says in a Sep 30 regulatory filing.

“In line with Keppel’s Vision 2030, Seasons City’s retail mall will also contribute to the group’s recurring income stream, bolstering our ability to create long-term value for stakeholders,” adds Lee.
Shares in Keppel Corp closed flat at $5.22 on Sep 30.
