BlackRock has ceased to be a substantial unitholder of Mapletree Logistics Trust M44U

(MLT) after it sold 4.034 million units in the REIT for $5.37 million or $1.33 apiece.

The units were sold via the market on May 31, according to a June 4 filing.

Following the sale, BlackRock now has some 247.56 million units in MLT, or a 4.95% stake, down from 5.03% previously.

On the same day, City Developments Limited C09

(CDL) also announced that BlackRock ceased to be the group’s substantial shareholder after the latter sold 277,000 shares via the market. The consideration of $1.56 million amounts to $5.64 per share.

The shares, which were sold on May 31, brings BlackRock’s stake in CDL to 4.97%, down from 5%.

Units in MLT closed flat at $1.34 on June 4.
