Japanese multi-brand food and beverage operator RE&S Holdings has concluded after an external forensic investigation that no evidence of data exfiltration has been found nor has any personal sensitive information been compromised, following its falling victim to ransomware attacks on Jan 11.

The company has been able to recover and restore the majority of data stored in its servers and there has also been no significant impact to RE&S’s business operations following the incident.
The attack had been just one of many in the month, with Japan Food Holdings experiencing a similar incident on Jan 22.

Shares in RE&S Holdings 1G1 closed flat at 26 cents on Jan 23.
