SINGAPORE (Aug 21): Beijing will see a worse immediate outcome in the event of a trade war between US and China, says a new analysis of the exposure of multinational companies to the China market.

According to a report by The Conference Board, export sectors in major developed countries and US would also not be significantly affected by China’s economic slowdown.

Findings from the New York-based corporate think thank showed that value-added exports to China from US and EU only contributed 0.7% and 1.6% respectively of national economic outputs.
