SINGAPORE (June 1): Cosco Shipping International (Singapore) Co. announced that Cosco (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co., a subsidiary of  the company’s 51% owned subsidiary, Cosco Shipyard Group Co., has delivered a bulk carrier, Darya Jaya to its Hongkong buyer.

Separately, Cosco Shipping says Cosco (Qidong) Offshore Co. and rigowner Sevan Drilling Rig VI intend to extend the defer the rig delivery date to June 30 to allow the parties to continue negotiations regarding the turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract for Sevan Developer.

This is the second time the contract has been extended. The first extension of six months up to April 15 was announced on Oct 17.
