MooVita – a high-tech start-up in Singapore providing autonomous driving solutions – is leveraging the Lyve Cloud for Startups programme by Seagate Technology to manage its data better.

The company decided to do so as its solutions rely on massive amounts of data to deep learn mixed traffic conditions, different terrains and driver behaviours.

“[The Lyve Cloud for Startups programme enables us] to collect, store and analyse data without a heavy burden of capital asset costs, cybersecurity and accessibility issues,” explains Anthony Wong, co-founder and CTO of MooVita.

He continues: “MooVita is expanding its global footprint and scaling up technology development, so we are also excited about potential opportunities to interact and collaborate with other industry players through Lyve Labs.”

Lyve Cloud for Startups is a free-of-charge programme designed to help early-stage companies in Singapore build and boost their businesses by providing them with data storage, data security, and brand exposure.

Under the programme, Seagate will offer eligible start-ups a package of up to 1PB of Lyve Cloud storage for one year. Lyve Cloud’s multi-region replication also enables 24/7 data access without costly delays.

Additionally, the start-up’s data will be protected from ransomware and backed up with enterprise-grade identity management support, automatic data replication, and the highest level of encryption that complies with the most stringent government standards.

Besides that, start-ups that are part of the programme will gain access to a team of data experts who can address queries regarding Lyve Cloud storage. They will also benefit from the additional promotion of their products and innovation through marketing around the success stories that would share their unique voice with the world.

Noa Franko Ohana, director of Lyve Labs, says: “We aim to help Singapore's tech cluster thrive for innovation with solutions that enable easy data storage and access, infrastructure management and data mobility.

“We will help start-ups succeed by providing the data storage expertise, tools, resources and support they need to grow.”
