SINGAPORE (Aug 25): The manager of ESR-REIT has fired back against reports that the REIT’s property at 30 Toh Guan Road may have used materials that did not meet the Singapore Civil Defence Force’s (SCDF) fire safety requirements.

A 54-year-old woman died after the industrial building caught fire in May.

Reports say the building had used external cladding that may not adhere to safety standards in the Fire Code and did not meet safety standards.
